ANC speaks through both sides of its mouth

anc-two-headed-monsterOver the many years of the ANC’s existence—100 years in 2012—we have now learnt with great clarity that the ANC will change strategies and policies as the circumstances demand, whatever their end-goal is!

The case in point is that several months ago, Julius Malema and his Pied Piper mice wanted to charge into Botswana to “help establish” a regime change in that country. With great fanfare the ANC chastised him and ANCYL for bringing the ANC into disrepute.

Of course, the ANC has a long-standing disrepute that all clear thinking people can clearly see and understand, since the ANC regularly rams controversial laws through parliament when they perceive resistance to their proposed laws. This was clearly the case with abortion on demand, legalised pornography, legalised same-sex whatever-it-is-but-it-is-not-marriage and now lately the secrecy bill. With each of these bills, the ANC simply rammed them through parliament, while not listening at all to what people were saying in consultation with the government. In fact, with each of these votes in parliament, ANC Members of Parliament (MPs) had no right to a vote of conscience. They were told what to vote! Democracy has no meaning to this monster!

Defend and protect the family–Stop TopTV porn!

Television companies are going full-out to corrupt the minds of people by pushing for pornography on their channels. e-TV has taken porn from their offering quite recently after many people complained about their late night transmission of porn (I hope it is still off!). Next came DSTV who also wanted to create a porn channel on their bouquet of offerings. After many complaints they also decided not to go ahead with this imbecilic idea! Now, TopTV, after claiming in their launch last year that they will keep their offerings clean, have succumbed to the smut-sells idea and want to add porn channels to their offering. The message we have is clear!

STOP PORN-TV IN SOUTH AFRICA!

Julius Malema is the “Lady Gaga” of South African politics

Image created by me, freely hosted on Turbo Image Host

Lady Gaga has said herself that she craves attention and cannot live without it, and from watching her antics and the way she dresses, we can see that she believes that the only way for her to get attention, is to be “waaaayyyy out theeerrre,” and to be controversial. The funny thing is, she could have become a respectable artist without the antics, based on the merits of her voice alone! But, because she has not matured in life to becoming a proper adult, she continues to crave attention, just like a child does!

Of course, here in South Africa, we have the equivalent of Lady Gaga in Julius Malema! Just in the political scene. Should we call him Julius Gaga, or Lady Malema? If it were not for Malema’s outrageous statements and claims, he would not have had a fraction of the attention that he is getting currently. For Malema, if it isn’t going to be controversial, it is not worth saying anything about it, according to how Lady Malema thinks.

Watching Youtube videos faster

youtube-logoNope! I am not going to teach you to watch or read or whatever faster. Simply, Youtube has started their HTML5 trial, through which you can select how fast you want to watch their videos. They have speeds as follows: 1/4 Speed, 1/2 Speed, Normal Speed, 1.5x Speed and 2x Speed.

All you need to do is visit the Youtube HTML5 Trial page and click on the link that says “Join the HTML5 Trial.” Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to select the speed of the video you are watching. You probably have to be logged in to Youtube. I haven’t tested that part!

What I was doing on 9/11 ten years ago

9-11-fireball-at-towers

This was the first image I saw on television

Ten years ago, on this day, one of the greatest modern, human-made disasters occurred. It was then that a group of Muslims from the “religion of peace,” attacked non-combatants (excluding the Pentagon), innocent by-standers, killing 2,977 victims, plus the 19 hijackers.

I can remember the day as if it were yesterday. I was busy buying a car in Centurion (South Africa), and as we were going to start the paper work, one of the salesmen came out of the coffee room saying that America was being attacked. We all rushed in to see what was happening, and I just could not believe what I was seeing. Just 9 months before that, we returned to South Africa after living in Columbus, Ohio for two years. While living there I came to love the country and its people, so when I saw this happening I could almost start feeling a physical ache in my heart as I saw the destruction and death of so many people. Watching the people running in the streets and the billowing dust from the buildings that came thundering down, I could see the fear in their faces and the panic that ensued. It was unbelievable. It was like watching one of Bruce Willis’ Die Hard movies! I couldn’t fathom how this could all be real! I sat and watched there for a very long time, until I could take it no longer.

The car salesman and I completed the paper work, I transferred the money to them, and then I rushed back to work to tell everyone there what had happened. Everyone tried to check out different news sites like CNN, but CNN’s website had so many people trying to get in that from our vantage point, it seemed to have died from all the pressure. At the end of the working day I rushed home to switch on the television. This must be the longest single “program” I ever watched on television. I watched as they replayed all the different scenes over and over again till I simply had to go to bed that night, feeling numb.

Anti-Trafficking Legislation - A Waste of Time?

In this day and age when human trafficking is rife all over the world, it is difficult to understand how someone sitting on the Justice & Constitutional Development Portfolio Committee, representing the IFP, could suggest that current statistics on human trafficking suggests that anti-trafficking legislation is a waste of time. This man obviously has no understanding of the dignity of human persons and the fact that we as humans are made in the image of God. That we are made in the image of God cannot be quantified into statistics. Human beings aren’t just accidental numbers that make up statistics. Further, this man, Mario Gaspare Oriani-Ambrosini, has no idea of justice in society and fighting crime. If crime was merely about statistics, then why have certain laws, since the lesser crimes should not be bothered about. Crime fighting is not just about apprehending criminals and putting them in prison. Crime against fellow humans is an affront to God.

Of course, the question to Oriani-Ambrosini is, how much of any given crime must be committed before he would be willing to give time to it?

Anyway, please read the newsletter from FPI below.

“Do it for Mandela” and man worship

TL007642This past Monday, 18 July 2011, was Nelson Mandela’s 93rd birthday. The U.seless N.ations have declared that day an international day, Nelson Mandela Day, on which e are supposed to do at least 67 minutes of good deeds for our fellow human beings. These 67 minutes are to commemorate the 67 years he gave to the struggle for social justice.

The world idolises the man to the point of nausea! It is as if he is the son of the virgin Mary, obviously to whom he is no comparison! They forget, that “saint” Mandela committed many atrocities and ordered the bombings of places where many civilians died. This is the man who did not have the backbone, the moral fortitude to stop the ANC’s juggernaut of immorality and perversions, who signed into law evils like abortion and pornography.

I have written against Mandela before, so I won’t rehash all of that, so rather than writing about it again, you could watch the following two videos by Dr. Peter Hammond, from Frontline Fellowship, who met and spoke to Mandela.

South Africa is at another crossroad, AGAIN!

Since 1994, annually we think that South Africa is at another crossroad, and since then South Africa have been at 18 crossroads. One per year! Of course, in my opinion, we have moved passed the crossroad, and is heading down the precipice of destruction, resulting in a huge SHPLATT at the bottom!

It simply does not stop! Every year we have strikes, demanding for more and more money. Of course, anyone with more brain cells than an amoeba can see that South Africa’s economy can NOT handle that kind of downward pressure. Right now, every Tom, Dick and other union has instructed their members to go on strike.

Apocalyptic Phoenix sandstorm 5 July 2011

Phoenix, AZ (USA), experienced a gigantic sandstorm on 5 July 2011, which according to some commentators was 3000ft (914.4m) high. It completely engulfed the city, and drivers in their cars were instructed to pull over and wait out the storm. The first video below has a song by some dumb rapper who needs his mouth washed with acid to clean up his language. So, beware of that! The song starts right after you see a weather man from Phoenix in the bottom left hand of the video. Then you can turn down the sound not to be bombarded by the foul language in the song. What is it with rappers anyhow? The English language has enough words to describe how you feel without having to use these words in a song!

Gender laws to force women into leading government positions

With the latest local government (municipal) elections (LGE2011), less women have been voted into local government as city or town councillors (38%) than in 2006 (40%). According to News24, in an article called “Disappointment at election gender figures,” the Ministry for Women, Children and People with Disabilities, said yesterday that it is “disappointed at the decline in the percentage of women as councillors in the country from 40% in 2006 to 38% after the 2011 local government elections.” Women's Minister Lulu Xingwana also said: “We are developing the necessary legislation which should compel all political parties to adhere to the principle of gender equality. The Gender Equality Bill will be submitted to Cabinet by March 2012 and it will also extend to the issue of employment and appointment of women to senior positions in both the public and private sector.”

I have a real problem with laws created for a certain subsection of society, as if existing laws are not adequate. All of society must live according to the same laws. Crimes committed must be punished by the same laws, for instance. Now, these special interest groups want to create laws for a certain subsection of society to elevate them into positions simply because they are part of that subsection, in this case women, all under the guise of equality.

The problem with quotas, and elevating one group over others, is that in the end it simply does not work. It simply cannot deliver the end result! The end result is good service and good governance.

Julius Malema, ANCYL declare war on South Africa

To Malema, South Africa can be divided into two groups: the haves, and the have nots. In his mind, with his business deals and all, he sees himself as belonging to the have nots. What is the solution for inclusion in the haves? Simply take from the haves, and he will become one of them too, while making the haves the future have nots. Malema believes in taking, and if he can’t just take right now, he will force the current ANC leadership to change their policies in order for him to take whatever he wants. Of course, to any sane human being, that boils down to stealing, no matter what policies or laws say. It remains stealing! If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, it IS a duck!

Malema has once again called for land invasions, taking from the whites what “rightfully” belongs to blacks. He does not want the current system, “willing buyer, willing seller” to remain in place. He doesn’t want to have to pay for land that already “belongs” to them. The funny thing is, the majority of tax paid into the national coffers come from whites, and those taxes pay for these land-exchange deals, hence, the land is bought from whites with their own money! He wants to simply walk onto a piece of land and take it. In other words, he wants Zimbabwe: the Sequel. The funny thing is, I cannot think of any country off the top of my head where this land grabbing policy existed, where that country has made a success in anything else! It creates an environment where every Tom, Dick, and Julius think that they can take what they want without working or paying for it. Therefore, thievery, killings and in the end civil wars abound! It WILL return South Africa to the barbaric days of Tshaka, and Dingaan! Is this really what Malema wants? If this is what he wants, he is more of a clown than I thought!

ANC ‘mis’-leader calls for burning down of newspapers

The ANC simply does not know how to behave, whether on the winning or losing side of elections. Not so long ago Gwede Mantashu, ANC Secretary-General said:

We must realise that in these elections the main opposition are the media. Leave the DA, leave Cope ... we will work very hard against that strong opposition.”

Nceba-FakuThen, riding on a victory wave in the Eastern Cape after the elections, the Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth) ANC chairman, Nceba Faku, called for the burning down of the The Herald, a newspaper in Port Elizabeth, with these words:

“Down with The Herald, down! Go and burn The Herald.”

The ANC has long been the enemy of free speech and a free media. They just do not know how to shut it down without bringing the wrath of the world down on them.

Verashni-PillayConcerning this whole saga, Verashni Pillay has written an insightful, if not humorous commentary called, Faku the hero. Her introductory line is:

It must be difficult being an African National Congress (ANC) hero. One has such large shoes to fill.”

The march on e-TV against pornography

My plan on the morning of the march, 21 May 2011, was to leave home one hour and fifteen minutes before the start of the events surrounding the march. The reason for leaving so long before the time is that "they" are still working on the N1 highway between Pretoria and Johannesburg, and if anything goes wrong on that highway, we would have to sit in traffic for a long time!

It just so happens that they had lane closures on the N1 and we did get to sit in very slow traffic for just over 2Kms. That doesn't sound so bad, but the fact is that it almost made us late for the 10:00 start! Well, God saw it fit to get us to Hyde Park Shopping Centre with about 5 minutes to spare! I had decided to take my camera along and play cameraman.

When we arrived there, there were only about 30-40 people there. I had such high hopes for this march. It was an opportunity for Christians and concerned citizens to stand up for what is right! What we do and stand for today, has an effect on the world that our children will one day inherit from us! The question is: What kind of a world are you fighting for them to inherit? A no-care attitude today will ensure a disastrous future-world for our children tomorrow! I was hoping for a couple of thousand people to march today, or at least 1,000. It was not to be! The final tally of marchers only came to between 80-100! After the march I gave ACA a call in Cape Town, as they were doing a march to the Cape Town offices of e-TV at the same time, to find out how many marchers participated there, and they had around 150! This is such a shame, especially if the fact that 75% of South Africans claim to be Christian is taken into account! Christians that want to sit on their deriers and have a good time, I am sure, but not Christians who would rise in society as the salt of the earth!

Some political parties will have to rethink either their strategy or their existence

vote

Amazingly Pretty and Somewhat Literary

Once again, South Africans have gone to the polls and have made their decision as to which political party they prefer to run their respective municipalities in this country.

At the end of any election cycle, it isn’t always easy to analyse the data, since you do not actually know what the voters were thinking while they voted. As a result, you simply sit with raw data. So, in order to make sense of the raw data, you have to extrapolate from past election cycles into the present and then try to predict what the future holds.

At this point, I am sure many political parties must be thinking about the future. Some parties have had a downward slide for several years now.

Since 1994, we have had 4 general elections (GE) and 3 local government elections (LGE). LGEs are simply municipal elections.

Voting experience with the local government elections 2011

iecWell, this was my first real voter’s experience in a long time. Back in 2006 I was a candidate in my ward for the ACDP. Hence, I did not have to stand in any long lines to vote. In subsequent elections I was an ACDP party agent, and again didn’t have to stand in long lines to vote.

However, this year I was a simple voter ready to make my cross behind my chosen party and candidate. We arrived at the voting station at 11:10 this morning and had a voting line that was only 50m (55yds) long.

Of course, the problem wasn’t the length of the line, but how long it took the IEC to get us to the front of that line to vote! It took us one and a half hours to get to a voting booth! For a 50m line, that is simply astounding, and unacceptable! The problem was not that the voters took their time in the actual voting booths inside the voting room. When my wife and I walked in there, 3 of the booths were empty. That means that if the IEC officials had a better system going, voting could have gone much quicker.

Who to vote for in the South African municipal elections in 2011, Part 2

I wrote part 1 of this short series last night, although I only got to publish it after midnight, hence its date is 17 May 2011. As you may expect, I was quite tired by that time. Hence, I forgot to say some stuff. So, here I will continue in that vein.

The thing is, as a Christian, I would like to vote my convictions. And, based on my convictions, and policies that are available to ponder from the different political parties in South Africa, I can only side with two parties, and they are the ACDP and the CDP. But, as you can see from my previous post on these matters, it certainly isn’t easy to choose between these parties. They are almost exactly the same.

I know people from both parties, and I have to admit, they are good people. As I said in my previous post, I was part of the ACDP for several years, and have met some really good people there. Naturally, there are some kooks there too. On the side of the CDP, I have met and spent an entire weekend with the leader of the CDP, Theunis Botha and his wife Kerry, at a worldview seminar that the Biblical Christian Network hosted (where I am involved). We had good discussions, and although many in the leadership of the ACDP have a huge axe to grind with them, I found him very cordial, but also direct, which I like.

Who to vote for in the South African municipal elections in 2011

flag_southafricaI would like to tell South Africans who to vote for definitively but alas, I can’t! This is the first year since 1994, in which I don’t know who to vote for. All other years it was easy for me. It was a foregone conclusion even before the election date was declared, in those years, that I would vote ACDP. However, this year, I am not sure whether I want to vote for them or not! This post will probably make many people come after me with baseball bats, ice-picks, shot guns and more! Hey, but that is part of the fun of blogging!

It is definitely easier to know who I will NOT vote for: the ANC, PAC and what I would call the communistic left. It is here that the devil’s plans find root for South Africa. It was under the leadership of the ANC and “Saint Nelson Mandela” that abortion, pornography and homosexual marriage were legalised in South Africa. It is they that are leading South Africa into the ocean of despair just like the Pied Piper led the mice to a watery death!

However, living in Pretoria, I have been toying with the idea of voting for the DA. I know that the DA, as a political party, is not against abortion, homosexual marriage or pornography. In fact, according to the DA, they do not have any policies regarding these issues. When votes on such issues come up in parliament the DA gives their members of parliament (MPs) the right to vote according to their conscience. That means that different DA MPs could vote opposite to one another in a true democratic system. This is something that does not exist in ANC ranks. Their MPs are consistently told what they are to vote. However, while the DA certainly does not seem to be an upstanding moral party, there are other issues that must be considered. The ANC has brought Pretoria to brink of financial disaster, and corruption in the ANC-led council in Pretoria seems like a bottomless pit. Currently, if we are to be realistic, no other party apart from the DA has even the remote capability of taking over the reins of the city from the Abortion Nepotism and Corruption party. Many areas around Pretoria have not received adequate services and hostels that were promised by none other than Jacob Zuma to be rebuilt, after several years never happened. Also, the DA only needs another 20,000 votes to topple the ANC out of ruling this city. That is certainly something to think about!

Julius Malema proves that racism is not just a “white” problem, calls whites “criminals”

Malema, who is affectionately called Juju (a waaaayyy to cutesie name for a person of his incrementally hateful jibes at white people), by the masses, seems not to put his foot in it, since he knows exactly what he is saying, and, I believe he is very calculating about it! A person puts his foot in it when he says something he didn’t plan and it comes out wrong. On the other hand, Malema is very calculating, and he plans very well what he says. He knows how to get people all fired up and ready for action.

This time, Malema told a crowd in Kimberley that whites should be treated as “criminals.” Read about it here and here. The man is already in court for hate-speech (singing “Kill the boer, kill the farmer”), and now he wants to make a blanket statement that whites should be treated as criminals. Surely we will be able, according to this logic treat Malema as a criminal. Perhaps somewhere in his family’s past there was a criminal, and therefore we can treat him as one!

To claim that people living on those land areas should be treated as criminals smacks of insanity! But, perhaps Malema has a plan. Is he intentionally provoking people into hating whites? And, it can be demonstrated that some people act out their hatred and turn to violence to satisfy their hatred. Therefore, Malema has another “proclamation” that he can be sued for in a court of law. The charge can be hate-speech to provoke others to violence.

The fact that the ANC never does anything of any value to put a stop to Malema’s outbursts proves just once again that they are making good political use of him as their gunslinger. This is all part of their policy; they just don’t want to come out and say it in the open, because they will end up in the fire for that.

The ANC has shown the world that they are racists as much as the previous government was under National Party rule. The only difference is that the world is blind to the ANC because of its Nelson Mandela worship.

Does the ACDP want to invade your privacy through compulsory HIV testing?

Cheryllyn Dudley
Facebook profile
. . . probably not!*

BushRadioNews reported today that the ACDP, via ACDP Member of Parliament, Cheryllyn Dudley, is calling for compulsory HIV testing for basically anyone within the borders of South Africa, that is for residents and visitors!

I don’t know if this is a new call for compulsory testing, since BushRadioNews does not provide any link to the original news story or press release. However, I do know that the ACDP has been calling for this since at least 2004. It can be viewed at their website here, here and here, and also in the IDASA report entitled HIV/AIDS and Democratic Governance in South Africa: Illustrating the Impact on Electoral Processes (PDF).

It is funny to hear of such a call from a conservative party. Usually you see this kind of thing from “progressives” and liberals. Liberals always want to control others, even under the guise of helping people. Taking away someone’s liberty is not helping them. It simply replaces the dependence on something else. (Again, I did not mean to imply that it is the ACDP's meaning in this call to control others.*)

Calling for compulsory testing from someone who does not have the disease is to invade that person’s privacy and dignity. Testing can, and should only be on a voluntary basis. Remember, this is not just about mandatory testing for HIV. Once a freedom, any freedom, has been usurped, no matter how small, the next freedom will be so much easier to take away, and even given up by the populace without even thinking about it. Freedoms are lost in small steps. Hardly any freedoms are lost all at once, unless they are taken away by force! What would be the next step? Tattoos on the foreheads of those that are HIV+?

There are always exceptions to almost anything in life. While I am against compulsory testing on just about anything, in the case of rape, the victim has a right to know the HIV status of the rapist, for obvious reasons.

ACTION: South African E-TV continues to push porn

stop_e-tvAs Christians we need to be concerned when evil takes over our country, especially via the airwaves. It is in the minds of people that the battle is either won or lost! When it comes to images, most often, words just cannot compete. This is why pornography is so quick to enslave its viewers, almost never to let go of those people.

E-TV is continually at the forefront of degrading women, defending their stance without a hint of blushing! E-TV has shown itself to be the hand-maiden of the devil when it comes to spreading filth, while claiming it is a free-speech right.

You, the viewers can put a stop to it, if you dare! Do not live in a dream world in which you think someone else will fight this battle for you! If you think like this, you are gravely mistaken, living in la-la land! It is you, and you, and you who need to fight and win these battles, NOT, them, and them, and them!

To reiterate Edmund Burke’s quote, mentioned below:

“All that is necessary for evil to prosper is that good people do nothing.”

That’s right, while we sit and do nothing, evil grows like a sickening, deformed cancer all over our country!

So, please take some time to write to these people at E-TV mentioned by Errol Naidoo of FPI in his Action Alert below. Seriously, it will not kill you, and it certainly won’t lessen you as a human being. In fact, maybe it will build some more courage into the fibre of your being!

I know YOU can do it!

The Ant and the Grasshopper in 2011

ORIGINAL VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY:
Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

wedemand Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference , demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

SABC1, 2 and 3 show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. The world is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Good Morning with the grasshopper, and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Demonstrations are held in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.'

TV commentators explain that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and there are calls for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the Government drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government and handed to relatives of the grasshopper.

The grasshopper instigates a lawsuit against the ant, and the case is tried under the watchful eyes of the trade unions.

The ant loses the case.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it. The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighbourhood.

ACTION: Even chewing gum sells sex these days!

What used to be a childhood pass-time has now been fashioned as a new draw card for sexual activity, perhaps even to the point of sharing your girlfriend with others. Is this really how far Beechies wants to push this envelope?

Just today I sent an email to the South African importers of Beechies on behalf of the Biblical Christian Network (BCN).

As parents and Christians we need to stand up against this type of sexualisation of our children via the previously innocent activity of [“insert innocent activity here”]! e.g. chewing gum! We need to stand up today so that our children can have a smut free tomorrow! Once again, in 10 or 20 years from now, what will you tell your child hen he comes to and asks: “Mommy, Daddy, what did you do when Beechies made chewing gum about sex? Why did you leave it to others to fix?”

Please, make a conscious decision today to start doing something for the future of this country. Don’t just sit back and expect others to do it. What if they are thinking the same? Please read the Action Alert from Errol Naidoo from FPI, and write to the relevant persons he mentions. Then, stop buying those Beechies, even if you or your kids are craving to chew on them! Let Beechies feel it where it counts, their bank balance!

I will vote ANC! SHOCKER!

. . . if it is for the ANC's demise, I will!

Julius Malema, that perpetual firebrand of the ANC Youth League, who wants the boers/farmers (whites) shot, says that we should vote for the ANC to keep Nelson Mandela alive.

Now, I know there are some out there who swoon at the name of Nelson Mandela, but the fact is that we do not vote for parties to keep personalities alive. We vote for what is best for South Africa, and anything ANC is NOT good for South Africa, and that includes Nelson Mandela. He may have been good for South Africa in some respects, but under his watch, almost 1,000,000 people have been brutally murdered. And, yes, that was after his release from prison. I am not even thinking here about the atrocities he was in charge of while a terrorist!

LGE2011: Why your vote counts!

registertovoteBack in 2006 I stood as a candidate in the Local Government Elections (LGE2006). This year I will not be standing in LGE2011! I currently have my mind set on different ways to effect change, of which this is one. Back then I also wrote several blog posts on LGE2006, and you can read them here (and more generally on politics here).

Voting is not a hassle that can be ignored like a stop sign, as so often happens here in South Africa! It is in voting that you can make use of your constitutionally democratic rights. By not voting, you in essence say: “I don’t need this right. It makes no difference to my life!” You will not be saying this when evil overtakes this country completely and you lose all your free-speech rights, or your right to worship whom you please and being open about it, for instance.

So, in order to help you towards being a voting member of society, I repost this newsletter from Africa Christian Action, to make sure the word goes out.

Caught on Tape: Planned Parenthood Aids Pimp’s Underage Sex Ring

PRESS RELEASE

Contact: Colleen O'Boyle, media@liveaction.org, (323) 454-3304

NEW JERSEY – February 1, 2011– A Planned Parenthood manager in New Jersey coaches a man and a woman posing as sex traffickers how to secure secret abortions, STD testing, and contraception for their female underage sex slaves, and make their whole operation “look as legit as possible” in an undercover video released this morning.

Clinic manager Amy Woodruff, LPN, of Planned Parenthood Central New Jersey’s Perth Amboy center, warns the pimp and his prostitute to have their trafficked underage girls lie about their age to avoid mandatory reporting laws, promising, “even if they lie, just say, ‘Oh he's the same age as me, 15,’…it's just that mainly 14 and under we have to, doesn't matter if their partner's the same age, younger, whatever, 14 and under we have to report.” She says, “For the most part, we want as little information as possible.”

A special day! A day of horror! The Unborn (1 Feb 1997-1 Feb 2011)

Today, 16 years ago at 13:55 my daughter, Nicole, was born! It was such a day of joy, happiness and pure exhilaration! That day I simply couldn’t contain myself. After we left the “delivery” theatre, the nurse wanted to clean Nicole up, but I insisted that no-one but I may give Nicole her first bath. While I was holding that tiny little body in my hands, her head resting softly in my left palm, I couldn’t help but thank God for such a precious gift! Now, 16 years later, I am a proud father of a young girl who is a hard worker at school, and apart from coming second in her grade  (9) last year in academics, she also gets awards for displaying the fruit of the Spirit every year. She is indeed a joy!

February 1, 1995, was indeed a wonderful day, especially for our family!

However, February 1 did not remain such an incredible day for long! Even though, in our family it remains a day of wonder and celebration, a day of infamy dawned on South Africa on February 1, 1997. On this day in 1997, the Bill on the Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) became law. Since then, somewhere between 750,000 and 1,000,000 babies have been brutally murdered!

Marie Stopes: Killing babies for profit

Marie Stopes International (MSI), was started by Marie Stopes, a eugenicist. MSI is involved in the daily slaughter of unborn babies.

Taryn Hodgson of Africa Christian Action, wrote an article on Marie Stopes and her evil organization, especially with the commemoration of the legalization of abortion on demand in South Africa on 1 February 1997. Because of this, many people will be involved in protesting the legalization of abortion in South Africa over this time. See the end of Taryn's article below for more information on how you can be involved in these protests! I will be at the protest in Boksburg, so if you decide to join us, please comes over to say "Hi!" I will be the one with the camera!

Hodgson article follows:

Did 67.8% or 57% of matrics pass in 2010?

So, I think it is time the euphoria about South Africa’s miraculous climb in the matric pass-rate to 67.8% (up 7.2%), should be brought back down to earth! Yesterday, I asked the question, Is passing matric an accomplishment at all?

Soetan

The Sowetan published the story above on 7 Jan 2011, concerning the true pass-rate of those that wrote their matric exams in 2010. A total of 643 546 wrote matric and only 364 513 passed. That makes it 56.64% that passed, meaning that 43.36% of pupils failed matric in 2010. The department of education (DoE)  hit back, saying that the figure of 67.8% is correct, stating that the Sowetan

Is passing matric an accomplishment at all?

When one looks at the matric results of 2010, so many questions are raised about the results. While no-one can deny that our educational standard is far below par, except for the ANC and its cronies of all stripes, including Umalusi (the quality assurance body for education in South Africa), we have to wonder why there is such a huge jump (7.2%) in our matric pass-rate?! Carien Kruger and Gershwin Chuenyane probed this issue with some questions in their News24 news article.

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga called the 67.8% pass-rate a “remarkable achievement.” When someone, like an education minister calls the failure of 32.2% of matric pupils a “remarkable achievement,” it has to be recognized that the education department’s priorities are all messed up. When a third of a school’s individual class fails in matric, it would be recognized as a disaster, and an investigation should be launched as to why so many children have failed in that class! Yet, when a third of our country’s matrics fail, it is called a “remarkable achievement!” How pathetic of our education department to think that this is remarkable!

What makes much of this remarkable pass-rate even more pathetic, is that some subjects such as maths and science only require a 30% subject pass-rate! As Wilmot James of the DA wrote in his commentary on this issue:

Obama’s evil abortion record

Christian, or anti-Christ?
You decide.
U.S. President, Barack Hussein Obama, claims to be a Christian, and has made several comments about his faith. However, when it comes to abortion (which I believe is absolutely anti-Christian), Obama has a putrid pro-abortion record behind his name. The stench of abortion hangs on Obama like that of a rotting corpse!

Obama’s pro-abortion record since being elected as U.S. president on 4 November 2008 reads like a horror novel. The difference is that this is real life! This is like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre by presidential fiat.

While I am reticent to simply say Obama is not a Christian, let the fruit speak for itself!

To read more about this evil, child murdering president’s track record on infanticide, read President Barack Obama’s Pro-Abortion Record: A Pro-Life Compilation at LifeNews.com.
